AAUW Honors Women with Centennial CelebrationFor more than 100 years, American Association of University Women, American Association of Family and Consumer Services, and YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County have been the voice for women in equality, employment, and education. The three organizations will be honored at the Centennial Celebration of Women...100 Years Forward event at 6:00pm, Thursday, Feb 18th, in the Grand Ballroom of the YWCA at 512 W.Fourth St. in downtown Fort Worth. Parking is directly across from the YWCA on West 4th St. Free parking is available by 6:00pm. Representatives from each organization will speak about their history and the challenges they foresee in the future for women and girls. Dr. Tahita Fulkerson, president of Trinity River Campus, Tarrant County College, will facilitate this panel discussion.AAUW Tarrant County is hosting the event.
